Not accepted — prohibited items
Never accepted (no exceptions). These hazardous items are prohibited in every skip bin:
- Asbestos, fibro and fibreglass
- Chemicals, liquids, oils and fuels
- Gas bottles and aerosols
- Paints and solvents
- Batteries
- Clinical or medical waste
Do not place these in the bin. If prohibited items are found after collection, contamination and disposal fees will be charged and the load may be rejected.
Not suitable for this waste type. Hard fill mixed with timber, plastic, soil or general rubbish is not clean concrete and is priced differently — book a mixed heavy-waste bin. Large reinforced slabs may need special arrangement.
