Refund policy

Cancellations & Refunds Local Skip Bin Hire is an online booking and comparison marketplace operated by Always You Pty Ltd (ACN 643 501 991, ABN 31 643 501 991). We connect customers with independent local skip bin suppliers who deliver, collect and dispose of the waste. Because a skip bin hire is a booked service rather than a physical product, the following cancellation and refund terms apply instead of goods-returns terms. 1. Cancelling a booking You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before the skip bin has been dispatched or delivered by the local supplier. To cancel, contact us as early as possible at info@localskipbinhire.com or on 1300 778 978 (Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm AEST) and quote your booking or order number. 2. Refunds - Cancelled before delivery/dispatch: you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. - After the bin has been dispatched or delivered: the service has commenced and the booking is non-refundable, as the supplier has already committed vehicle, driver and disposal capacity to your job. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Please allow a short period for your bank or card provider to post the refund. 3. Changes to a booking If you need to change your delivery date, address or bin size, contact us before dispatch and we will do our best to arrange it with the local supplier, subject to availability. Some changes may affect the price. 4. Problems with your service If the delivered bin is not what you booked, or there is a problem with delivery or collection, contact us promptly so we can work with the supplier to resolve it. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and within a reasonable time. 5. Weight limits, prohibited items and surcharges Each bin has an included weight allowance and a list of accepted and prohibited waste types shown at the time of booking. Overloading, prohibited items (for example asbestos, liquids, food waste, gas bottles or certain heavy materials) or waste-type contamination may incur additional charges from the supplier. These charges are not grounds for a refund of the original booking. 6.
